Gulf Copper’s Harbor Island (“GCHI”) facility is a private, deep-water marine terminal located at the entrance of the Corpus Christi Ship Channel, near the intersection of the Intracoastal Waterway. The site is conveniently located on Highway 361 adjacent to the Aransas ferry, and perfect for importing, handling, and storing wind components and other project cargo.

  • “Closest to the Gulf” location: 3 miles from the open GOM
  • 650’ of deepwater (-33’ MLLW) bulkheaded dockage just 300’ from the main channel
  • 1,250’ X 500’ deep-water harbor

The Facility

135 acre highly stabilized, all-weather yard located on the Corpus Christi ship channel.

Access

Route from site via state highway 361 to Interstate has been cleared for 250,000 pound-plus loads and blades in excess of 63 meters.

GCHI offers project cargo clients an uncrowded facility with ample space to maneuver, handle and store wind component and other cargo at a competitively priced private port.
